BEI had a long-term contract with Al-Ezz Steel in Sadat City to assist the production of rebars with essential services like slag handling, scrap handling services, material handling, and metal recovery.

Additional activities included slag reloading, steel blocks cutting, oversize and overweight scrap cutting, and cutting of home-return scrap.
