Slag Handling
Hot slag removal from underneath furnaces by pot carrying or under-furnace digging, with full environmental controls.
Pit Management
Full operational responsibility for slag yard and slag cooling area including waste break, aggregate slag, and hot slag pots.
Metal Recovery
Resizing oversized iron, drop balling, oxygen lancing, and processing melt-shop debris for maximum material recovery.
Scrap Management
Unloading, sorting, segregating, sizing, and transporting scrap to the melt shop per safety and quality standards.
Material Handling
Handling raw materials, parts, additives, lime, and electrodes from stores to the melt shop.
